What is KiwiSaver?

KiwiSaver is a voluntary, work-based savings scheme.  It’s a Government initiative designed to encourage New Zealanders to save more and help support themselves in retirement.

Enrolment in KiwiSaver is automatic for all those starting a new job (with some exceptions), although employees can opt out if they want to.

Who can join?

KiwiSaver membership is voluntary and open to all New Zealand residents aged up to 65.  If you are 18 years or over and start a new job, you will be automatically enrolled in KiwiSaver (with some exceptions).  Other people can choose to opt in to KiwiSaver.

How can we help you?

It’s important that you understand KiwiSaver and how it affects you, whether you’re an employer or an employee.  Employers in particular need to understand their mandatory obligations under the scheme.

Please Contact Us for more information on KiwiSaver. We can help you work through the options and implement a KiwiSaver solution that is right for you.
